Amazing Victorian JLA Custom Figures

I’m not normally that interested in custom action figures – the hobby of using existing figures to create your own variations of classic characters – but sometimes you find some that are just stunning. Modeller Sillof was inspired by the Gotham By Gaslight graphic novel to create an entire Victorian JLA:

Some of the figures aren’t too far from those in JLA: Age of Wonder (another mini-series with similar themes) and look like they’re based on modification of some of DC Direct’s Elseworlds figures. This was spotted via Boing Boing’s Cory Doctorow who seems to have something of a fetish for Steampunk things. Although I must admit I’m rather taken with Dr Grordbort’s Infallible Aether Oscillators myself.
