Ties That Bind

There is nothing like a nice trip back home to recharge the batteries, unfortunately there is also nothing like arriving back to find spring has started without you (darned hayfever). So after a slight break I’ve now had chance to add the episode analysis and review of “The Ties That Bind” to the Justice League Episode Guide. I rather enjoyed the episode, but it’s really going to depend on how much you like the New Gods.

  1. Good review!

I liked this episode, but I agree with you that its more of an appeal to fans of new gods/Kirby/sterenko/older-comics.
Sure it got fairly corny at times, particularly Baron Vunderbar, but, come on, look at his name…and “scott free”?

It was also cool that Darksied was mentioned as having “disappeared.” I don’t know if he’s behind the big plot against the JLU,
(I’m hoping for Ras Al Ghul), but at least he’s not out of the picture yet.

Also, loved the part with elongated man and flash playing rock’um sock’um robots.
