Allan Heinberg talks JLA in Wizard #163

Looks like Wizard has got another exclusive. They’ve got comments from the OC’s Executive Producer Allan Heinberg about the JLA arc he’s co-writing with Geoff Johns.

The DCUs most powerful heroes will be paying for their past sins in a new story arc starting with June’s JLA #115, spinning out of last years Identity Crisis mini-series. “This is what happens when the League is held accountable for their actions”, co-writer Allan Heinberg said. “This is about how a team like this, with so many egos and so many different philosophies, has stayed together as long as they have and whether or not they can stay together through this as well. “

Something else interesting – DC Countdown and Wizard #163 both come out the on the same day – can we say major exclusive coverage boys and girls :) Look for both next Thursday.

  1. They have ruined the DC Universe.

Please join me in cursing them.

  2. Cursing people will not do any good Philip. Especially when they *haven’t ruined the DC Universe. Identity Crisis and Countdown haven been incredibly well written and for the most part very interesting. I am personally sad that the characters from the JLI are being slowly dismantled, but at least they serve the larger story. The DC Universe is really heading somewhere and I’m definitely along for the ride.
