Back to the beginning

Writing the reviews and analysis of the Justice League Unlimited episodes has reminded me of by duties to this site’s JLA Index. I must admit I’ve let it go quite fallow lately – what with animated antics to follow and all. The gap in this week’s schedule (and no I haven’t seen “The Return” yet – a friend’s VHS copy is about to be borrowed) means I’ve had chance to go back to the beginning — specifically JLA #1. I’ve given the analysis and synopsis a once over and, more importantly, I’ve added a new review/commentary to that issue, its place in Morrison’s JLA run and threads that he wove between the new series and the original Satellite-era League.
