Comic Art Magazine

Just a quick pointer: The latest issue of Comic Art Magazine ($9 from you friendly local comicbook specialist) has an article about Mike Sekowsky (the original Silver Age JLA penciller) by Mark Evanier. The writer describes Sekowsky as “The man who could draw anything – and usually, overnight.” If your not familiar with Sekowsky’s work check out some of the excellent JLA Archive editions or your back issue bins for modern reprints. The article also has some fascinating background to the first League adventures.
